We sang this song in church on Sunday and all week I have had it running through my mind. It reminds me of these scriptures...
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hi Bonnie, Welcome back home. As we meditate on God's Word scriptures do come to mind. It says in Psalm 77:6 I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, and my spirit makes diligent search. Bless you.

ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this song. It made me think of
ReplyDeleteMark 4:19 which says "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful." The devil is always there wanting us to look for something besides Jesus. The song also made me think of how faithful and good the Lord realy is to us even when we don't deserve it. He wants us to look to Him so He can give us the desires of our hearts. In life and in death we serve a merciful, gracious God.
